The Milan Area Fire Department covers 77.6 square miles including the City of Milan, London Township, York Township and Milan Township.

With an average of 1000 responses per year, the MAFD serves more than 12,725 people with an average response time of 6 minutes or less.

In addition to our staff of 31 paid on call firefighters, the MAFD also has mutual aid agreements with Augusta Twp FD, Saline FD, Dundee FD, Pittsfield Twp FD, LMR FD and several others.
